Many of the species of plant life have been experimented with over the course of the past 15 years. On a hillside without running water or electricity, they have had to flourish basically with the help of 'Mother Nature' and hand delivered water. Most have adapted and settled in, some have struggled and had to be re-positioned or have sadly died out and gone to plant heaven.
Vast Groups of Trees & Shrubs
There are so many beautiful flowering and non flowering shrubs planted on all levels it is difficult to list them all. Some have just blossoms, and some have added fruit berries . (apples & Plums) ... a true heavenly bird sanctuary. Often the berries are picked for delicious jelly and jams.
The garden is hedged with the mighty prairie poplar. Inside the garden area the trees age from 15 years to just as early as yesterday! Always looking for places to plant trees, We believe they are the savior of our environment.
If you love, trees, shrubs, flowers, birds, and nature, you will be thrilled to stroll through this garden. Along the matured areas as well as the garden still in progress.
Eating areas are positioned within and amongst the trees and shrubs . Three and four levels as well as the social area on the large new patio.
